Last Updated: June 12, 2026
1. Services
We provide residential and commercial lighting services in the greater Sacramento, California area, including recessed lighting, kitchen lighting, holiday and Christmas lighting, permanent outdoor LED lighting, commercial lighting, event lighting, accent and architectural lighting, security lighting, and landscape lighting. The specific scope of any project is defined in the written estimate or agreement you accept.
2. Quotes and Estimates
Quotes and estimates are provided free of charge and are based on the information available at the time. They are valid for the period stated on the estimate, or 30 days if no period is stated. Final pricing may change if the project scope, site conditions, or materials differ from what was originally assessed. Any significant change will be communicated and approved before additional work proceeds.
3. Scheduling and Access
Service dates are scheduled by mutual agreement. You agree to provide safe and reasonable access to the work area, including electrical panels and exterior areas as needed. Delays caused by weather, site access, permit timing, or circumstances beyond our control may require rescheduling. We will make reasonable efforts to keep you informed.
4. Payment Terms
- Payment is due as stated in your estimate or invoice. Larger projects may require a deposit before work begins.
- We accept the payment methods listed on your invoice.
- Past-due balances may be subject to reasonable late fees as allowed by California law.
- Title to installed materials remains with us until payment is received in full.
5. Permits and Code Compliance
We perform electrical work in accordance with the California Electrical Code and applicable Sacramento County and municipal requirements. Where permits are required, we will advise you. You are responsible for disclosing known issues with existing wiring, structures, or property conditions that may affect the work.
6. Warranty
Our permanent outdoor lighting systems include a 5-year warranty covering defects in our workmanship and the lighting system, subject to normal use. Other services and manufactured products are covered by the applicable manufacturer warranty and our workmanship guarantee as described in your estimate. This warranty does not cover:
- Damage from misuse, accidents, weather events, or acts of nature
- Damage from alterations or repairs made by anyone other than us
- Normal wear, bulb or component aging, and routine maintenance items
- Issues caused by pre-existing wiring or structures not installed by us
To make a warranty claim, contact us using the details below. We will inspect the issue and, at our discretion, repair or replace covered items.
7. Customer Responsibilities
- Provide accurate project information and timely approvals
- Ensure pets, vehicles, and valuables are clear of the work area
- Disclose the location of hidden wiring, plumbing, or irrigation when known
- Make timely payment as agreed
8. Cancellations and Rescheduling
If you need to cancel or reschedule, please give us as much notice as possible. Deposits may be non-refundable to the extent we have already purchased materials or committed labor for your project. Any cancellation terms specific to your project will be stated in your estimate.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising from our services or these Terms is limited to the amount you paid for the specific service giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under California law.
